System Requirements

PC minimum system requirements

  1. Internet connection
  2. Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista
  3. CD/DVD read/write
  4. Sound card
  5. One Firewire (IEEE 1394) card per camera (dual cameras will need 2 Firewire cards)
  6. 2.2MHz Core 2 Duo or similar
  7. Graphics card for a desktop : ATI Radeon HD 3450 or later with 256MB of ram. (make sure you get the latest drivers from the manufacturer)
  8. Graphics card for a laptop : Intel 965 graphics chipset or later with a minimum of 256MB of memory allocated to the card.
  9. 1 GB RAM (for XP), 2 GB (for Vista)
  10. 100 GB free hard disk space
  11. 1280 x 1024 19" monitor. The applications are intentionally optimized for standard proportion screens as this gives the best use of the screen space for the vertical nature of the subject matter, they are not optimized for wide screen. If you use a wide screen TV you will either get black letter boxing down the side or a wide stretched screen image. Also dual video on TV screens cannot be guaranteed because of issues with some graphics drives and some TV’s.

Camera requirements

  1. Entry level mini DV camera with IEEE 1394 out.
  2. A camera mount capable of rotating the camera so that it is shooting a portrait view

Treadmill requirements

  1. A treadmill will be required.
